Introducing Willow and Oak, vision-rooted, efficiency-driven strategic collective.
Vision without the right systems stalls. Systems without the right vision suffocate.
Vision.
Structure.
Growth.
At Willow & Oak we believe...
Every person and organization is one of a kind — with a distinct purpose and a unique contribution to make in this world. We also believe that chaos and inefficiency can quietly keep you from reaching the potential you were created for. Our work begins with clarity — a clearly defined vision, the right systems to support it, and ongoing processes to evaluate and refine as you grow. Through consulting, coaching, and leadership development we help individuals and organizations clear what's in the way, build something rooted enough to last and strong enough to grow — and make the difference in this world they were put here to create.
Who We Serve.
We work with nonprofits, churches, ministries, businesses, and individuals who are ready to move from chaos to clarity and from potential to purpose. Whether you are leading a team of hundreds or navigating a deeply personal season entirely on your own — if you have ever sensed that there is more available to you than what you are currently experiencing, you are exactly who we had in mind when we built Willow & Oak. We believe that the hours you spend managing inefficiency, putting out fires, and carrying the weight of systems that were never designed to support your vision are hours stolen from the work, the relationships, and the life that actually matter most to you. Our goal is simple — to help you reclaim that time, eliminate what is weighing you down, and build the kind of clarity and structure that frees you to show up fully in every area of your life. You do not have to have it all figured out. You simply have to be ready to take the next step toward the life, the organization, and the impact you were created for.
We Begin with Listening:
a Complementary Honest Conversation and Simple Solutions
Every great journey begins with telling the truth about where you are. We begin with a complimentary Life Audit or Organizational Audit — a focused conversation centered around your most pressing pain points, not everything at once. Before we meet we will send a short pre-call survey so we arrive prepared with genuine awareness of your situation and some immediate strategic solutions to offer. We will also share what working together more deeply could look like — the advising, the building, the tools, and the ongoing support available if you choose to move forward. You will walk away from this conversation having gained something real — regardless of what you decide next. No pressure. No obligation. Just an honest conversation between two people who both want the same thing for you.
The Willow & Oak Way
Every engagement begins in the same place — and follows the same intentional path forward.
Every individual, business, organization, church, and ministry we work with moves through the same four phases — because the process of becoming what you were made to be is the same regardless of the size or shape of the mission.
The Willow & Oak
Four Step Approach
01- Clarity
Before you can build toward something, you have to see it honestly.
Before anything else, we slow down long enough to get a clear and honest picture of where you are — what is working, what is not, what has been tried, and what has been avoided. Through guided reflection and honest assessment, we help you identify the gaps between your current reality and your true potential, and begin to understand the unique design, strengths, and calling that will shape everything that comes next.
03- Structure
A great vision without the right structure will always struggle to gain traction.
Clarity and vision are only as powerful as the foundation beneath them. We work alongside you to design the systems, processes, and frameworks that align with who you are and where you are going — eliminating what is creating friction, filling what is missing, and building the operational foundation your vision needs to move from intention to momentum. Nothing is borrowed from someone else's blueprint. Everything is built for you.
02- Vision
Not just inspiring. Clear enough to build toward.
A vision that cannot be defined cannot be pursued. We work alongside you to move from a general sense of what could be to a specific, grounded, and deeply personal picture of what you were actually built for — one that belongs entirely to you and no one else. Whether you are an individual rebuilding after a major life transition, a business redefining its direction, a nonprofit realigning with its founding mission, or a church or ministry stepping into a new season, your vision should be as unique as your calling. We make sure it is.
04-Refinement & Growth
Growth is never a destination. It is an ongoing process of moving forward, evaluating honestly, and refining with intention.
The work does not end at implementation. We build cyclical review processes into everything we do so that as you grow, as seasons change, and as new challenges emerge, you always have a clear and reliable framework for evaluating where you are and what needs to shift. Because the goal was never to arrive — it was to build something sustainable, purposeful, and strong enough to keep becoming what it was always meant to be.
This is the Willow & Oak approach — for the:
individual finding their way back to themselves
the business building toward its potential
the nonprofit realigning with its mission
the church or ministry stepping into its next season of impact.
Different trees. Different water sources. Different purposes.
One process for finding your way toward all of it.
Meet Meredith Fortner
The Heart Behind The Willow & Oak Collective
Some people find their calling in a single defining moment. Meredith found hers in the accumulation of two decades of experience across the corporate world, nonprofit leadership, ministry, and her own deeply personal seasons of rebuilding — and in the recurring realization that the same challenges kept showing up everywhere she looked.
Visionary people and organizations stuck in the chaos of systems that were never built to support them. Leaders doing important work but slowly drowning in inefficiency, unclear direction, and the weight of doing everything themselves.
People who knew they were made for more but could not find their way through the noise to get there.
Willow & Oak was born out of that recognition — and out of Meredith's unwavering belief that every person and every organization deserves the clarity, the structure, and the support to become everything they were created to be.
With Willow & Oak, you will never be handed a generic blueprint and promised that it will work.
From the moment we begin working together, every conversation, every assessment, every system, and every strategy is built around one thing — you. Your design. Your calling. Your vision. Your season.
Whether you are an individual finding your way back to yourself, a business building toward its potential, a nonprofit realigning with its mission, or a church stepping into what comes next — you will be met exactly where you are, seen for exactly who you are, and partnered with every step toward exactly where you were made to go.
This is not a program you fit into. This is a process built around you.
